Bridal and Groom Prep at Staverton Park Hotel
Okay, let's start with the behind-the-scenes action at Staverton Park Hotel. Picture this; a room buzzing with excitement and laughter. Lou, the kids and her fabulous bridesmaids getting dolled up and sharing stories that have them in fits of giggles. The atmosphere was full of excitment and nerves ahead of the main event.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the hotel, Jamie and his groomsmen were having a blast, in a much more relaxed atmosphere with preparations starting much later than the bride's room! It was all about suiting up, cracking jokes, and making sure every tie was perfectly knotted. The space echoed with laughter and anticipation as Jamie prepared to see his beautiful bride-to-be.
Bride's First Look Reveal with Bridesmaids at Dodford Manor
Now, let's fast forward to the heartwarming first look at Dodford Manor. Lou, was revealed to her bridesmaids wearing her wedding dress for the first time. Wedding and Reception at Dodford Manor
Dodford Manor in Northamptonshire was the perfect setting for Lou and Jamie's heartfelt ceremony and unforgettable reception. The beautiful barn was used for the ceremony, with massive windows filling the space with light (a wedding photographers dream!). Lou made her grand entrance, walking down the aisle with a smile that could light up the world whilst Jamie stood trying to hold back the emotions. The whole ceremony was a beautiful blend of heartfelt promises and shared inside jokes that had everyone in stitches.
We used the stunning grounds of Dodford Manor to capture some portraits of the couple on their massive day, followed by some "formal" shots of them with their nearest family. This was followed by a delicious meal, which the couple were kind enough to allow me to be a part of! That brownie for desert will live long in the memory!!
Once everyone had their fill, the speeches kicked off. Laughter echoed through the air as friends and family celebrated the newlyweds' love, with the father of the bride stealing the show!
First Dance

The lights twinkled and changed colors beneath their feet, creating an enchanting backdrop for their dance. It was a truly breathtaking moment, illuminated by the vibrant energy of the dance floor, and etched in the memories of all who witnessed their beautiful first dance. They were then joined by their guests to party long into the night!
